The Buxton Inn
Granville, Ohio, USA.

The 25 room Buxton Inn prides itself on being “America’s most ghostly country inn”. But even if you don’t encounter something beyond explanation while here, at least you’ll be keeping good historic company.
Dating back to 1812, the tavern was said to have given overnight accommodation to the likes of Charles Dickens, William McKinley, James Whitcomb Riley, and Harriet Beecher Stowe. Its most famous former patron, however, is almost certainly Abraham Lincoln.
The city of Columbus is little more than twenty miles away to the west, while the small town of Newark is around five miles to the east.
