La Maison de Rhodes
Troyes, Champagne Ardennes, France.

There are some visual parallels to be drawn with the famous Globe Theatre in London – both timber frame buildings with open interior space. That, however, is where the similarities end.
Situated in the medieval district of Troyes, Maison de Rhodes once belonged to the Knights Templar Order of Malta and possesses foundations dating from the 12th century and a superstructure from the 17th.
Painstakingly restored to its former glory, it now offers 11 guest rooms and four star hospitality.
