The Atholl Arms
Dunkeld, Perth and Kinross, Scotland.
Built in 1790, this relatively small hotel is located within the historic cathedral city of Dunkeld some 15 miles to the north of Perth.
Aside from being a splendid late Georgian building, the hotel’s primary historic significance is that Queen Victoria visited on September 11th 1844, along with Prince Albert and their daughter Princess Victoria (who would become the mother of Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm II).
The Atholl Arms features only 17 guest rooms, including the Victoria Suite which boasts views of the River Tay. Dining options are available at the Riverview Restaurant and the Inn @ The Atholl Arms.
Dogs are very welcome on request (additional charges may apply).
