Hotel des Augustins

Although many of the rooms have been given a more contemporary feel than a period one, there’s no doubt that Hotel des Augustins is a very old building. In fact, the place is reputed to possess a heritage dating back as far as the 12th century.
As befitting a place of such great age, the place has a few tales to tell, not least that it was said to have been visited by Martin Luther following his excommunication and return from Rome.
Hotel des Augustins offers 29 guest rooms in all, and a central location off the Cours Mirabeau.
