Chateau des Arpentis
Near Amboise, Centre, France.
Situated just to the east of Amboise, Chateau de Arpentis has a history dating back as far as the 14th century (although most of the existing building is from the XVII).
During the 1600’s the building was the property of the Duke of Luynes and, in June 1619, played host to King Louis XIII.
Today it offers bed & breakfast accommodation through 10 individually named and furnished guest rooms. These include The Catherine, The Christian, and The Donatien.
Chateau de Arpentis also has its own outdoor swimming pool (open during the warmer months) for use by guests.
