The Royal Victoria Hotel
Pisa, Tuscany, Italy.

Previously an inn (the Locanda della Vittoria) before opening as a hotel in 1839, the history of parts of the present building are thought to date back to around 980 AD.
How much of that original structure remains is difficult to ascertain, but during its time the property is said to have played host to numerous notable figures, including Teddy Roosevelt, Charles Dickens, and John Ruskin.
The Royal Victoria overlooks the River Arno (the only hotel in central Pisa to do so), and offers a total of 48 guest rooms.
Further information to be uploaded soon.
