Parador de Lerma
Lerma, near Burgos, Castile y Leon

Dating from the early 1600’s, this Ducal Palace was commissioned by the then Duke of Lerma, Francisco Gómez de Sandoval y Rojas, for the benefit of King Philip III of Spain. Indeed, ‘Philip the Pious’ is said to have stayed in the building on several occasions.
