Llangoed Hall
Near Brecon, Powys, Wales.
Aside from a Jacobean porch as part of its south wing, much of the existing building dates from a grand re-design during the early 20th century.
However, a country house has existed on the site since the first half of the 17th century and, more importantly than that, was formerly referred to as Llangoed Castle.
Indeed, it is thought by some to be the location of the White Palace of Welsh legend, where the nation’s first parliament was held.
Four star rated, the hotel offers 23 guest rooms in total.
