The Angel Hotel
Cardiff, Wales.

This grand Victorian landmark of Cardiff has been dispensing hospitality to visitors to the Welsh capital since 1866.
Unsurprisingly, during that time it has supposedly played host to a number of famous figures, not least Marlene Dietrich. Alas, aside from noting that Gregory Peck and the Beatles also stayed at the Angel, there is scant information as to what must surely be an impressive metaphorical guest book.
Of course, it would be fair to say that the hotel benefits far more from its location than former clientele when it comes to attracting new visitors. After all, the place is just a few hundred yards from the magnificent Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Castle.
Four star rated, The Angel possesses over 100 guest bedrooms and a noted restaurant, Castell’s.
