La Maison de Lucie
Honfleur, Normandy, France.
A pretty name for a pretty building, this was the birthplace of the writer and poet Lucie Delarue Mardrus – an author responsible for numerous works including the curiously titled L'Ange et les Pervers which translates roughly as The Angel and the Perverts. The building itself dates from the eighteenth century.
Featuring ten rooms in all (of which 2 are suites), La Maison de Lucie is centrally located on the Rue des Capucins. The property also boasts a little spa which is to be found in its vaulted cellar.
