Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi
Rome, Italy.
Now a four-star hotel, this building was formerly a renaissance palace. Built in 1585, the property was home to Giulio Rospigliosi - later Pope Clement IX - in 1667, and possesses its own private chapel.
Palazzo Rospigliosi’s history, though, runs far deeper than its connection to just one individual. Indeed, the place is associated with some of Rome’s artistic heritage and also acted as a ‘Missionary for Apostles’ from the mid 1700’s.
The hotel today offers over 30 guest rooms, restaurant and a bar.
