The Partridge Inn
Augusta, Georgia, USA.

This splendid hotel was almost demolished in the 1980’s. Thankfully, though, it was spared and ultimately restored to its former glory. Today it offers 145 rooms and suites (largely courtesy of an extension to the original building in 1910) , and an award-winning restaurant.
Perhaps its most notable historic significance is that the Partridge Inn was chosen to host Augusta’s welcoming banquet for President Warren G Harding in 1923. The Rockefellers are also reputed to have been regular patrons.
Located in the old Summerville District of Augusta, the hotel is but a few miles from the world famous Augusta National Golf Course where the US Masters tournament is held.
