The Inn at Ormsby Hill

Built circa 1764, the Inn at Ormsby Hill is a restored manor house which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It offers 10 guest rooms and benefits from views of both Battenkill Valley and the Green Mountain landscape.
Legend has it that one of the Revolutionary War’s most colourful figures, Ethan Allen, hid out in the building. It has also been visited by both presidents Taft and Grant, as well as Robert Todd Lincoln. The house also has the town’s original jail cell located in its basement.
Albany is located just across the state border with New York, while Boston is also within reach by car.
